Using Legal AI Agent

Now that you've set up Legal AI Agent, it’s time to unlock the full potential of AI-powered actions to supercharge your legal workflow. Get ready to work faster, smarter, and more effectively!

Step 1: Select Text

• In Documents: Highlight text in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Google Docs, Chrome, or other text editors—basically anywhere with text. (Image and PDF support coming soon!)
• In Emails: Select relevant text within your email client (e.g., Outlook, Gmail) for AI processing.
• Across Applications: Copy text to your clipboard (Ctrl+C or Cmd+C) from any app, and use it within Legal AI Agent.

Step 2: Access the AI Menu

• Right-Click: After selecting text, right-click to open the Legal AI Agent context menu, giving you instant access to AI actions.
• Hotkey: Press the configurable hotkey (default Ctrl + Space) for direct, quick access to the AI menu.

Step 3: Choose Your AI Action

The AI menu offers a variety of powerful actions to enhance your workflow. Each action is designed to save time and add value to your legal tasks.

• Summarize: Quickly condenses lengthy text into concise summaries, highlighting key points for a fast overview.
• Translate: Translates your selected text into your preferred language, instantly bridging language barriers.
• Improve: Refines your writing by enhancing clarity, style, and conciseness.
• Analyze: Delivers in-depth analysis and insights, identifying potential issues or patterns in complex legal documents.
• Semantic Search: Conducts advanced searches based on meaning, helping you find relevant information within large documents.
• Custom: Execute custom tasks tailored to your specific needs, enabling unique, high-value actions.

Note: Some actions may require you to enter a search query or provide additional instructions in a pop-up window.

Step 4: View and Utilize Your Results

Legal AI Agent displays results in a dedicated response window, empowering you to use the output immediately.

• Copy: Easily copy the AI-generated content to your clipboard for seamless integration into other applications.
• Save: Save the results as a text file in your "Results" folder, allowing you to revisit the information later.
• Insert/Replace: (For text-based actions) Insert the AI output directly at your cursor position or replace selected text with the refined content.
